One page forces the household to decide what is truly important

An emergency binder can contain detail. An emergency information sheet should be the fastest possible summary.

Include basic identity and location

Home address, household names/roles and the primary emergency contact are a reasonable starting point. Include only information appropriate for where the sheet will be stored.

Add essential operational contacts

Utilities, building management, nearby trusted contacts, pet care or caregiver numbers can be included depending on the household.

Reference rather than expose

Instead of placing policy documents or identity numbers on the sheet, write where secure records are stored.

A paper sheet is convenient but can be seen by anyone with access to it. Decide what belongs on a refrigerator, in a private binder or only in the app.

Contextual CTA: Use the generator to create two versions: a limited shared-sheet version and a more complete private household version.
