Room Inventory Generator

Sometimes the fastest path to a complete household inventory is to ignore the rest of the house.

Inputs

  • room type;
  • purpose;
  • whether to include furniture, electronics, appliances, decor/valuable items, built-in equipment;
  • level of detail: quick / standard / detailed.

Output

Create a table with suggested fields for each selected category. The suggestions must reflect the room: a kitchen needs appliance model fields; a home office needs device/owner fields; a storage area needs box/location fields.

Unique value

This tool should not simply print the same generic columns for every room. It should tailor the information to the item’s likely future use.

Save behavior

Allow the user to select rows to convert into local asset records.

CTA: Do one room at a time and stop when the information would no longer help a future decision.
