Pet-sitter instructions should remove guesswork from normal routines

A sitter should not have to interpret vague notes such as “feed normally.” The useful sheet turns everyday caregiver knowledge into clear actions.

Describe the routine

Record feeding amount and schedule exactly as currently used, walk/activity routine, usual sleeping arrangement, location of supplies and any known household rules.

Keep medical instructions current and authoritative

If medication or treatment is involved, reproduce current veterinarian instructions accurately. Do not ask the app to generate or modify medical directions.

Give escalation contacts

Primary owner, backup household contact, veterinarian and emergency clinic information should be easy to identify.

Review before every trip

Pet routines can change. Add a last-reviewed date and do not reuse an old sheet without checking it.

Contextual CTA: Generate the sitter sheet, then give it to someone unfamiliar with the routine and ask what is still unclear.
